Marching on... Brothers in arms, we'll rest when the battle is won Stand your ground! Free your land! Bring them down March to war They'll sing of our glory, tell tales of the heroes this day Drums of war… Night draws in, Hiding our fear Deep dark moors, Battle draws near! They must fight ‘till the end Strike them hard to the end Battle’s fought ‘till to the end Ride on forth, to the end No, we cannot dream, they carry the weight of the world Raise your sword this night! Fight ‘till the end… Fight as one, Brothers we fight, we don’t halt ‘till the day ends us ours Maidens roar, sisters of war you don’t rest ‘till the night’s a red haze…. Night draws in, Hiding our fear Deep dark moors, Battle draws near! They must fight ‘till the end Strike them hard to the end Battle’s fought ‘till to the end Ride on forth, to the end No, we cannot dream, they carry the weight of the world Raise your sword this night! Fight ‘till the end… They must fight ‘till the end (we must fight 'till the end) Strike them hard to the end Battle’s fought ‘till to the end (battle's fought to the end!) Ride on forth, to the end No, we cannot dream, they carry the weight of the world Raise your sword this night! Fight ‘till the end…

Sail forth, there's seas to conquer Raise a storm, the winds of fate Twilight calls, it's in the distance Free of war, of beasts and hate Twilight’s calling, can you hear it? Endless oceans, pearls of secrets Mystic powers, share their wisdom Golden shores, forgotten kingdoms For glory, rise now and see Here be lions for eternity Come with us, conquer the world For the power, we're heeding the call Beasts will rise, we'll raid their kingdoms The path is drawn, don't cast away Ships ahead, they're free to roam 'We'll sail with you!' 'You guide the way!' Twilight’s calling, hear their whispers? Endless oceans, pearls of secrets Ancient powers, roaming mages Golden shores, forgotten kingdoms For glory, rise now and see Here be lions for eternity Come with us, conquer the world For the power, we're heeding the call And now the order of shamans, the wisest of all the great kingdoms, priests in folklore They say the lions, Brave men! Famed men! they roamed these oceans, Their spirits will guide our way! For glory, rise now and see Here be lions for eternity Come with us, conquer the world For the power, we're heeding the call

In the night, I see it in my dreams, A land of freedom That once was ours In your eyes, I see your hidden fears,´ Come, we will run Fierce like the sun Yet we rise again Swords and shields Hopes and dreams When you see the might, Raise your sword, One more time, I'll Bring the Dawn again, Across the rainbow's light. I'll spread my wings and fly Until my final flight. For when we call to arms. Whenever Skies are Grey, I'll be your guiding light, Until my final flight. Feel the fire, You see it your dreams, A might kingdom, That once was ours. In their eyes, They see your victory, Come claim the light, Makes tales of this night. Yet we rise again Swords and shields Hopes and dreams When you see the light, Raise your sword, One more time, I'll Bring the Dawn again, Across the rainbow's light. I'll spread my wings and fly Until my final flight. For when we call to arms. Whenever Skies are Grey, I'll be your guiding light, Until my final flight. Yet we rise again Swords and shields Hopes and dreams When you see the light, Raise your sword, One last time, I'll Bring the Dawn again, Across the rainbow's light. I'll spread my wings and fly Until my final flight. For when we call to arms. Whenever Skies are Grey, I'll be your guiding light, Until my final flight.

Soaring over mountain peaks a cold crisp winter breeze a throne of gold, a crown of old a king above the sea Only those who know this world Can find us in our sleep We noble lords, we kings of old We quest to save your souls He took our lives, the old lord in his keep He said we'd save this world, He said that we'd bring peace We were once men of the world, We were once born free, They call us the Dragonlords, the kings above the sea Reign of Might for evermore Men will bend the knee The call us the Dragonlords Glorious we'll be! Deep dark valleys, guide my course To take me over seas The men of Vale don't know our world They're doomed to face defeat Raise our army, build the fleet The shaman holds the key Dragon law can save this world The old lord spoke to me He took our lives, the old lord in his keep He said we'd save this world, He said that we'd bring peace We were once men of the world, We were once born free, They call us the Dragonlords, the kings above the sea Reign of Might for evermore Men will bend the knee The call us the Dragonlords Glorious we'll be!

Follow the Northern Passage, Where endless darkness stalks, Where winter moonlight in the brightest torch we know Here dwell the ancient watchers, They creep this dreaded course Great kings will pass on through, Make tales not yet known Come take the Northern Passage, There’s no return… Kingdom’s will fall… The Sagas’ foretold… Come take the Northern Passage, The Twilight calls… Sail, on and on… See what lies beyond! The blackened sun will rise, Days pass, you’ll beg to die For years, the darkness lies consuming all our fears… Break from the shadow, face the beast and claim your fame! Through the raging seas (we plunder!) Twilight’s in our reach (no quarter!) Northmen of the sea (to battle!) They’re calling to me! Come take the Northern Passage, There’s no return… Kingdom’s will fall… The Sagas’ foretold… Come take the Northern Passage, The Twilight calls… Sail, on and on… See what lies beyond! The blackened sun will rise, Days pass, we live to fight, For years, the darkness lies consuming all our fears… Break from the shadow, face the beast and claim your fame! Great kingdoms fade in this world, Leaving their empty thrones, Chapters are yet to be told, Ages of peace and war… Through the raging seas (we plunder!) Twilight’s in our reach (no quarter!) Northmen of the sea (to battle!) They’re calling to me!

Rise Again 05:52
Years' ago, when the shadows gathered, Magic dark, black, fierce and mighty, Old Magic, Dark forces, Rise, beasts from the grave Evil hoards, riding through the wastelands Killing, slashing beasts Cursed Magic Night Phantoms Lord! Hear our please! Shamed, the hero’s guild, they fled in the defeat Sworn to serve To honour, Casted, out to sea The mighty heroes from the sea, They answered to the Lords pleas, They bring us wisdom, raging winds, We're now free... New heroes riding forth! To slay the beasts Great heroes from the North! To keep us free New heroes riding forth! Their tales, we'll sing Great heroes from the North! Ride free! Centuries ago, the great heroes fell from grace, But now they gather again… Years come and go, The masters will know, Heroes will now rise again! Here be heroes, the brave and mighty Great sagas, tell their stories Old wisdom, Brave Nomads Fly, beyond our dreams Their song has travelled, through the valleys A tale of victory, Our heroes, Our glory Rise! Heroes Guild! Famed, the hero’s guild, they fight to serve the peace Born to serve For honour, Brave, men of the sea! The mighty heroes from the sea, They answered to the Lords pleas, They brought us wisdom, sagas to sing, Forever free... [Heroes singing] “On, we ride through the wastelands On we go, men of the sea… Go, tell tales of our glory, our legend, our fame!”

I walked upon a ship one day, black flags upon it flew An elder stopped and goaded me, son who the fuck are you I said I need to catch a break, show me the pirate way I’ll make you a pirate, follow me I’m Captain O’Malley – follow me! First night we set to Vale’s cove to practice what he preached A dozen ships or more were there and several more had beached Like the tide the mood had change, the old dog tripped and fell For his name was Captain Boone O’Malley and his life’s a living hell I looked him square in the eye and said, ‘I don’t know how to chantey, alright?’ He said dear boy don’t be a fool, it’s all in life we do The moon looked down in disbelief, stars avert their gaze Chantey long into the night, we plunder tomorrow… He said go grab your boarding axe, I’ll teach you how to plunder Keep your feet steady now, be careful not to chunder Fill your pockets full of loot, don’t forget the gold Split your share evenly, it’s in the Pirates code I looked him square in the eye and said, ‘I don’t know how to chantey, alright?’ He said dear boy don’t be a fool, it’s all in life we do The moon looked down in disbelief, stars avert their gaze Chantey long into the night, we plunder tomorrow… O’Malley’s time will now end, he’s had his last day of glory ‘Go finish what I’ve begun, you’re the ships’ captain now’ Run this ship and all its loot, Plunder nations, plunder fortunes Now one last time my dear boy, show me how you how chantey

Sagas 04:06
Raging storms, Endless fog, Homelands are a haze. Crushing waves, Fearsome rage, The sea takes her revenge. Wait, what’s up wonder? The moon lights the shore… Storm the fortress, draw your swords. We’ll find our destiny! Over the hills, To lands far beyond, We will go where no one has gone before… Across the sea, To lands not yet know, These sagas aren’t written, they are sung! Towers old, Stone of gold, We take all we can see. Kill them all! Burn their halls! You now answer to me… This is an old world, The men quake with fear… Storm the fortress, draw your swords. We’ll find our destiny! Over the hills, To lands far beyond, We will go where no one has gone before (for glory!) Across the sea, To lands not yet know, These sagas aren’t written, they are sung!
9.
An ageing sky, Clinging to life, But the moon rides high, Feel her gentle shine Now Boone stands tall, To give the call, It’s the sacred night, When the raider’s rise Drinking ‘til dawn, The undead no more, This is the night the raider’s rise, Deep in folklore, For one night, no more O’Malley’s boys of old, Will rise again… The party soars There’s undead whores, The living souls, they flaunt their gold For raider’s swear, A lifelong oath, To serve beyond The mortal world… Drinking ‘til dawn, The undead no more, This is the night the raider’s rise, Deep in folklore, For one night, no more O’Malley’s boys of old, The Boys of Boone Paradise calling, Look to the sunset Boone takes his cup and swigs He’s Boone O’Malley He’s Boone O’Malley He’s Boone O’Malley The king of the sea! Drinking ‘til dawn, The undead no more, This is the night the raider’s rise, Deep in folklore, For one night, no more O’Malley’s boys of old, Will rise again… The boys of Boone! Sunlight glows In the cove The undead must depart this world Boone now yawns Looks to the shores The raider’s fade to dust The boys of Boone!
10.
Look beyond the raging sea The distant shoreline to our destiny They say a beast rests in the shore Gather all your courage, on to war We will face the undead hordes Fallen maidens, pirates, claim these shores! No matter what we face, we’ll conquer For we dream of a golden age We will claim this land and conquer, Draw your swords, we will win this day For the glory of the sea, The gods of old will guide our swords of steel Raging winds will calm the beast He will gather all to crush our fleet No matter what we face, we’ll conquer For we dream of a golden age We will claim this land and conquer, Draw your swords, we will win this day Tell us tales of our greatest kings, Stories of their heroic deeds, They say that they knew no fear We must fight, the time is near! Look way up yonder, I see our future, Land of tomorrow, Across the sea There in the distance, Beasts wait in wonder Land of tomorrow Let’s claim the sea
11.
Here we stand at the edge of the world, Fearing we’ve gone beyond, We’re far from the golden shores, From Vale’s Cove The world we know… This is not how it ends, We still live this day Could it be, What we see, Is the end? No more land, No more sea, Nothing more. Could it be it’s the edge of the world? Legends say there’s a world far beyond I refuse to return where we started I’m convinced we are wrong Legends of old, Talk of land unknown Magical forces, both ancient and bold roam beyond Look to the sun and the stars, They stalk all we know What if everything we know is wrong? I must know… What lies beyond The sea holds of the secrets of old How can we know as well? There’s always a path to go, Men who know Beasts or foes I will not stop this way We’ll change now this day We are close, Feel the breeze, See the fog There’s no land, But more sea, Nothing more. Could it be it’s the edge of the world? Legends say there’s a world far beyond I refuse to return where we started I’m convinced we are wrong South of the mountain, the peak of wisdom Where they say lions do roam But what lies beyond the unknown? Could it be it’s the edge of the world? Legends say there’s a world far beyond I refuse to return where we started I’m convinced we are wrong Legends of old, Talk of land unknown Magical forces, both ancient and bold roam beyond Look to the sun and the stars, They stalk all we know What if everything we know is wrong? I must know… What lies beyond

Kinsman 05:53
[opening monologue] ‘Darkness creeps through the lands of Boobia, The brave captain, Gannon the younger now has the chance to show his courage… The Goblin Overlord plans to terrorise the people of Andria, Deep in his keep, Count Horn-Igit plots his invasion… Can Gannon crush the enemy, or will a new dark power rise in the South? An army raised to destroy all in its path… The fate of Andria does in fact lie with the King of the Pirates… He either sails to Vale’s aid, or leaves the world open to the spread of darkness, hate, and war… Captain Dirty Albert knows that the fate of Andria, rests in is hands alone’ The Mountain standing tall in sacred Boobia, The whispering shadow in the depths of Andria Young Gannon stares, The Mountain groans Perched on the throne, There sits his foe Gannon sends his men to storm the Count’s keep But they find it empty, not one beast was seen Then the men turned back to flee A goblin hoard attacked and killed all they could see Fate will guide my sword, Strike the head from the dark lord This is my day The Count will pay He’ll taste my blade The mountain speaks to me, The whispers of my dreams Young Gannon waits to find his men have not returned, And to the west the Count is raiding Boobia For now the time has for Captain Albert’s nod, Will he send an army, will he save the world? The Captain nods, His fleet departs, Dirty Albert His fate unknown Gannon takes his army west to Port Willop, Can they meet the Count and rid him of the world? But the Pirates now begin, To crush the Goblins and protect their ancient kin Fate will guide my sword, Strike the head from the dark lord This is my day The Count will pay He’ll taste my blade The mountain speaks to me, It whispers of my dreams “Kinsman stand as one Face the Goblin hoard” Fate will guide my sword, Strike the head from the dark lord This is my day The Count will pay He’ll taste my blade The mountain speaks to me, It whispers of my dreams [closing monologue] ‘and so, the day was won, the Empire saved. The deeds of Dirty Albert were not forgotten, For his legend would live on forever and beyond The Port of Willop was now his to rule, Whilst Young Gannon was paraded through Victoria, a great hero of Vale! We fight for our kinsman We stand as one We fight for our kinsman The Count’s no more…

Fight against the world Through the ages we set sail Rise and fight the ancient heathen Fateful island warriors Sail ahead towards the shore Don't fear the ocean's roar No man among us knows this land But do we want to anchor? Tales of mighty sorcerers And here be Dragonlords This unknown kingdom Soon shall fall Across the ocean an old power grows Howls in the twilight, a beast on his throne Fight against the world Through the ages we set sail Rise and fight the ancient heroes Fateful island warriors Come, see, look the sky is turning red And the sea gives up her dead Help lord! The story goes, a creature rose and sat upon the throne And took the kingdom as his own Part man, part beast, part dragon! We'll heed the call for one and all, We won't weather the storm, This unknown kingdom will stand tall Across the ocean an old power grows Howls in the twilight, a beast on his throne Fight against the world Through the ages we set sail Rise and fight the ancient heathen Faithful island warriors Come, see, look the sky is turning red And the sea gives up her dead Help lord! Fight against the world Through the ages we set sail Rise and fight the ancient heathen Fathful island warriors Fight against the world Through the ages we set sail Now is time to face the heathen Glory to the unknown world Don't fear look the sky has turned to red We shall give the sea no dead Tonight!

Long ago 5 kings would ponder, Sitting in their hall Should there be just one great kingdom? Could this kingdom fall? Years have passed, Holy wars, Heroes carved in walls Pillars of the world, The greatest warriors! But as the ages passed, New heroes rose to fame. Now sing these words, chant the legends name! Grimgotts calling! Everybody in the Kingdom Grimgotts calling! Come and chant our name! Grimgotts calling! Everybody in the Kingdom Grimgotts calling! Come and chant our name! Now the world has been divided Several nations rule Northmen, pirates, noble kingdoms, Grimgotts still stands tall! Years have passed, Holy wars, Tales of great lords… We’re who formed the world, The greatest warriors But as the ages passed, New heroes rose to fame. Now sing these words, chant the legends name! Grimgotts calling... Everyone, everywhere... Grimgotts calling... And we will sing for you... Grimgotts calling... Now come and chant our name! Grimgotts calling! Everybody in the Kingdom Grimgotts calling! Come and chant our name! Grimgotts calling! Everybody in the Kingdom Grimgotts calling! Come and chant our name!

'The story goes that the world begun with 5 great kings, but what came before, is unknown... They say the few who know are not privy to sharing this knowledge, but it is imperative we must know...' 'Tales, Sagas & Legends, we all know the stories! Here be Dragonlords, barbarian hoards and pirate swords. Grimgotts claim to rule the world, but really, it's the lions of know...' Long ago, our fathers set sailed. Chapters lost, the pages fade away... Hear my words, there's more to this word. Chapters lost, the pages faded... Long ago, our fathers set sailed. Chapters lost, the pages fade away... 'And so for now our history remains hidden, but we will always know who truly rules, who controls every event foretold, and every being who claims the throne!'

about

‘TALES, SAGAS & LEGENDS’ is the third full length Grimgotts album, and in our opinion, the most ambitious to date.

As many of you may be aware, we released 3 EPs in 2020. Each EP featured all the ingredients for a classic Grimgotts record, but with added spice along the way to develop our own powerful sound. You’ll now be able to enjoy all these tracks FULLY remastered, meaning all our trademark sound is as clear as the Andrian seas.

Not only this, you’ll have a brand new track, ‘The Lost Chapters’, and a reimagined version of our track Fight Against the World.
